Receptionist – Part Time Position

Jim Gauthier Kia is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll play a key role in creating a positive dealership experience while supporting multiple departments with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct customers to the appropriate department
• Track and log incoming sales calls
• Process customer payments and issue receipts
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
• Securely deposit funds into the safe
• Manage and track dealer plates, gas cards, keys, and other dealership assets
• Assist with filing, data entry, and general administrative duties
• Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area
• Support sales, service, and administration teams as required

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Comfortable handling cash and financial transactions
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets is considered an asset
• Previous reception, administrative, or customer service experience is considered an asset- willing to train the right candidate
• Automotive dealership experience is an asset but not required

Schedule & Compensation:

• Estimated schedule: Part-time weekday evenings and rotating full-day Saturdays
• Starting wage: $17.00 /hour
